As a fifth-generation San Franciscan, Charles Griffith has an innate appreciation and understanding of the San Francisco Bay Area. Charles was born and raised in Hillsborough. He and his wife, Jane, currently reside in the Baywood neighborhood of San Mateo. Charles specializes in representing buyers, sellers, and investors on the Peninsula and in San Francisco. He has extensive knowledge of the market trends, neighborhoods, and local school districts. Charles started in residential real estate over 15 years ago, with the goal of helping clients successfully invest in Bay Area real estate. Few brokers have such a native comprehension of the area's history. Charles brings strong business acumen, dedication, integrity and a value-add approach to the residential real estate market. Charles attended North Elementary School in Hillsborough, Stevenson School, and the University of the Pacific (UOP). After UOP, Charles went to work for Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi Capital Corp, working with their cross-border aircraft leasing group before joining Cardinal Capital, LLC, in San Francisco. At Cardinal, he worked in their real estate development group where he gained experience in all stages of investment and sales cycles in commercial and residential markets. In 2008, Charles joined McGuire Real Estate - where he was McGuire's #1 Peninsula agent. In 2020, he joined Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty® (GGSIR) in Burlingame, where he has been a Top Agent. Charles has a unique advantage working in partnership with his wife, Jane, who has been in real estate for twenty-five years. Jane received her MBA from USC Marshall School of Business. Prior to joining Charles in residential real estate, Jane worked in commercial real estate. She started in acquisitions for Glenborough Realty Trust, then as an Asset Manager for Morgan Stanley and Pacific Coast Capital Partners. She managed office, multifamily, industrial, retail, and development properties in the Western United States. Jane was responsible for formulating and implementing value creation and exit strategies for each asset. The Griffiths’ collaboration is truly complementary, bringing a robust breadth of knowledge to their clients.
